This was our second album although we released it around the same time as “Christmas Songs”. We are a pretty prolific band when it comes to songwriting and we had to make some choices about what to include on Salt & Gold. We thought about this so much that Kevin forgot to include the title track on the cover of the CD – fortunately he remembered to include it on the master recordings sent to the record company. The album is a collection of soft rock/pop tunes that the online stores describe as “indie/alternative” as they did with our first album. We don’t get hung up on genres though. As Arthur Rubinstein said, “Making music is like making love; the act is always the same but each time it’s different.” We hope that’s as true for us and for you as it was for Arthur.
